Colacem - Organisms Evolution – Industry Becomes Vision

Created for the Colacem Cement Factory, these two projects explore the vitality of cement, a silent material that only speaks when it takes shape. Heat, an essential element in its production, was captured using thermal imaging technology, allowing me to visualize the essence of the factory and the energy of its structures and “inhabitants.”

Two series of images illustrate this process: a thermal reportage, revealing its vitality, and industrial resonances, which transform the site into geometric patterns and visual vibrations, conveying the echo of an imaginary resonance of the factory’s oversized structures and turning the industrial spaces into a poetic and immersive visual language.

The project investigates the relationship between industry and creativity, portraying the factory as a synthesis of imagination and sustainability, offering a view of the poetic potential of industry.

These works were presented as part of Organisms Evolution, a performative event at the Stella Polare Auditorium, Fiera Milano Rho, during MADE EXPO.
