Indian Stills - Limited Edition Book

The images of Indian Stills were created during a journey to India using a large-format camera (9 × 12 cm) and black-and-white Polaroid film with negative recovery.

The series is collected in a hand-bound volume, released in a limited edition and accompanied by a photographic print.

The film used, Polaroid T55 B/W 9 × 12 cm, now out of production, is recognizable by the marks left by the protective materials along the edges of the negative emulsion, which was later digitized and printed.

Indian Stills has been exhibited in various photography festivals and exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, including the Brescia Photography Biennale, FotoGrafia Festival di Roma OFF, Boutographies in Montpellier, Turin Photo Fest, the Off circuit of Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia, the Nehru Centre and the 118 Gallery in London.

Images from Indian Stills have also been shown in several group exhibitions, including a SummerFest Show at Horst Gallery in London, the Fine Art Photography International Exhibitions at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, Colorado, and at the Centro per la Fotografia d’Autore in Bibbiena (AR).

Format: 28 × 24 cm, 74 pages plus endpapers, Bodonian hardcover binding with Japanese stab binding.

Indian Stills is a limited edition with numbered and signed copies, printed on 120 gsm Fedrigoni Stucco Old Mill White paper and on G.F. Smith / Paper&People Colorplan Claret 135 gsm and Colorplan Harvest 135 gsm papers.

All copies are accompanied by a photograph printed on 190 gsm Archival Matte Paper.
