Amarta Magazine — The Portrait as Narrative
Amarta is a high-end international magazine, distributed worldwide — from Barnes & Noble in New York to Corso Como in Milan, from the Palais de Tokyo in Paris to the Aoyama Book Center in Tokyo. A publication that weaves together fashion, art and culture.
My collaboration with Amarta revolves around portraits of artists, designers and fashion creators: people who have made vision their craft, carrying a deliberate and deeply constructed identity. Photographing them requires listening — making space for something more authentic to emerge.
A portrait, in the context of Amarta, is never just documentation. Every image gives back not only a face, but the silent language of those who have made vision their world.
